Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside
As His Majesty’s representative in Merseyside, Peter oversees a wide range of civic duties including the honours and awards system, royal visits and engagement with voluntary, community and business sectors. With deep knowledge of the King’s Awards for Enterprise and the wider national honours process, Peter will present an overview of how individuals and organisations can be nominated, what assessors look for, and how the Lieutenancy supports the journey from application to recognition.

Rachael leads JJ Smith, a long-established family business and one of the UK’s foremost suppliers of woodworking and manufacturing machinery. Founder and Director, Adlib
Andy is the Founder and Director of Adlib, one of the UK’s leading providers of professional audio, lighting and video solutions. Under his leadership, Adlib has grown from a small local business into an internationally recognised brand supplying tours, theatre productions, broadcast, installation and live events across the globe. The company’s innovation and strong culture led to its recognition in 2025 with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, highlighting Adlib as a standout business within the sector.

Group Chief Executive, Knowsley Development Trust
As Group Chief Executive of Knowsley Development Trust, Dean leads one of Knowsley’s most respected social enterprise collectives, championing community impact, inclusive growth, and long-term sustainability. Knowsley Development Trust earned two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in 2009 and 2015, recognising its commitment to community development and social value. With extensive experience in social enterprise leadership, Dean offers valuable insight into how national recognition can elevate an organisation’s profile, credibility and influence.
