This is an opportunity for Knowsley businesses to meet our procurement partners and specialists who can help you navigate this and provide you with practical tips and insights.

• STAR Procurement– Knowsley Council’s procurement partner, will highlight the recent changes to procurement processes.
• Meet the category managers to discuss forthcoming opportunities and learn how to register for alerts.
• Get tips and advice from our tendering and social value specialists and meet the teams who can support your workforce wellbeing.

9:00am – 9:10am Introduction:
Rachel Peak, Head of Business Growth Knowsley Council, will welcome delegates and introduce STAR Procurement as the Council’s Procurement partners.

9:10am – 9:30am Presentation:
A brief introduction to STAR Procurement, its role as procurement partner for Knowsley Council, opportunities for local spend and how the Procurement Act 2023 has been developed with small businesses as its focus.

9:30am – 11:30am Meet the experts:
Businesses are invited to meet with partners for personalised advice and practical tips. This session provides an opportunity for one-to-one discussions with specialists.
